SnapReceipt Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and SnapReceipt. Please read them before using the app.

1. ACCEPTANCE

Installing or using SnapReceipt means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please delete the app.

2. WHAT SNAPRECEIPT IS

SnapReceipt is a tool for recording and reviewing your own spending. It is not a bank, a financial adviser, an accountant or a tax preparer. Nothing it shows you is financial, tax or legal advice.

3. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DECISIONS

Figures, summaries and suggestions in the app are there to inform you, not to decide for you. Any decision you take about spending, saving, budgeting or filing taxes is yours, and you remain responsible for it and for its consequences.

4. AUTOMATED READING IS NOT PERFECT

Receipt scanning, voice transcription and the AI assistant all rely on automated recognition, and all of them make mistakes. Amounts, dates, merchants and categories can be read incorrectly, particularly when a receipt is creased, faded, poorly lit or partly cut off.

Check anything that matters before relying on it. This applies with particular force to tax records, expense claims and reimbursement, where an unverified figure can cause you real harm. The app shows you what it extracted precisely so that you can correct it.

5. YOUR ACCOUNT

An account is optional. If you create one, keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

6. SUBSCRIPTIONS

SnapReceipt Member is an auto-renewable subscription.

7. WHAT YOU AGREE NOT TO DO

8. YOUR CONTENT

Your transactions, receipts and conversations belong to you. We claim no ownership of them. Cloud backup grants us permission to store and transmit that content for the single purpose of providing the backup you asked for, and for nothing else.

9. AVAILABILITY

We aim to keep the app working, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. Cloud backup depends on services we do not control and may be unavailable at times. The app is designed to keep working offline, so an outage does not stop you recording expenses.

10. NO WARRANTY

The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. ENDING THE AGREEMENT

You may stop using the app and delete it at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.

13. APPLE

Apple is not a party to this agreement and has no obligation to provide support for the app. Apple is not responsible for any claim relating to the app, including product liability, failure to meet legal requirements, or consumer protection claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

14. CHANGES

These terms may be updated. The date above shows the current version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

15. CONTACT
